Thanksgiving Holidays
That time will soon be upon us. Family gatherings, the smell of Turkey with all the trimmings, the sounds of children's laughter, football on television, roaring fires and simply a wonderful season and holiday. I love this time of the year.
Old Testament Lending
The Mosaic law encouraged the practice of lending Deu 15:7; Psa 37:26; Mat 5:42; but it forbade the exaction of interest except from foreigners. Usury was strongly condemned Pro 28:8; Eze 18:8,13,17; 22:12; Psa 15:5. On the Sabbatical year all pecuniary obligations were cancelled Deu 15:1-11. These regulations prevented the accumulation of debt.

The Day Of The Lord
Ponder that day, the return of Christ. What will it look like? What does it mean to you?

I'm not going to go scriptural here because you either know what the scriptures state or you don't. However for those of us that do, and that have followed the prophecies of the scriptures. There are numerous end time ministries within the body of Christ. Some that are biblical, some that are semi biblical and some that are just after your money. Eye's That See The Needs
There are a lot of hurting people in the world. Truth is we don't have to look far to find them. They are around us daily. At work, at the grocery store, within our communities, on the very streets that we live on and sometimes in our own homes.
What can each of us as Christian's do to reach out to others? Maybe the simplicity of a smile, maybe inviting and buying someone lunch, maybe that single mother that's struggling, maybe that girl or boy down the street that lost a father or mother through a divorce. Truly the opportunities to bless others are all around us, and everywhere. May we all be a friend to someone in need and simply be Christ like.

Prayer For The Persecuted
Weekly I receive and read reports about Christian's being persecuted overseas. Sometimes these reports are what could be considered normal and minor persecutions. However other times they are life threatening, cruel and simply a form of terrorism against our bothers and sisters in Christ abroad. Please remember to daily pray for those in the harvest and mission fields of the world. Lift them up to the Lord, and cover them in prayer. Thank you, and blessings to each of you.
